With Halloween on the horizon, The Edinburgh Dungeon summoned us to scare up engaging content and paid advertising.
In September 2018, the Edinburgh Dungeon reached out to us to bring the Halloween and festive season to life. Injecting gallows humour, razor-sharp wit and a splatter of Scottish history, we were proud to delve into our dark side to increase engagement and drive ticket sales. But how? Dare to read on…
Working in tandem with Merlin’s other agencies, Sunshine added a local flair (or should that be scare?). Based in Auld Reekie ourselves, we understood the audience more than anyone – after all, we were the audience. RIP us.
Let’s face it, nobody likes spoilers. That’s why our content was carefully crafted to engage on a love of the macabre – turning posts into torturous games, historic quizzes or re-engage visitors with behind the scenes content.
With results high and the Dungeons singing our unholy praises, we ensured their team had all they needed to continue delivering their content way into the project’s afterlife.
